learn to speak English fluently

Ok, I think some progress has been made in these days, listening to american tv series and reading american books and comics (and, of course, writing here and talking to some americans as well). However, and I think that shows how much this is important for me, I added to my rss reader an italian blog that aims at teaching english to its readers: its name is EnglishBlog (not so original, isn’t it?) and it tries to explain the use of english words and phrases in different situations. In short, another good way to train me.

I’ve started a heavy work, last days, on my english, particularly watching tv series in their original language (usually here in Italy we watch these series in a dubbed version), reading a lot of american comics in english and trying to compile a sort of phraseological dictionary, careful to catch the real english spoken in dialogues. The work is going well, even if it will be long (but until now I’ve been very excited, and so I don’t think so much about it).

To speak a good and fluent english, I need first of all to write a good and fluent english. So, I think that being here is not only enjoining, but even useful to improve my knowledge of this language, expecially when I write a new entry like this…
