I don’t know how…. I guess its because I literally don’t have time to stop and eat with full time school and work 65 hours a week. I start getting two days off this week! And I’m learning everything that I need to do, so I won’t need to go in so early or stay so late. Hopefully that’ll bring me down to around 50 hours a week. Then I can start eating again! And going to the gym a little :)

Exercised 3 days this week… including this morning. Bike, eliptical, and treadmill. 40 min later- sweaty and 400 calories lighter
my car accident 2 years ago, I have gained about 25 to 30 lbs. A few times I’ve gotten up to about 240 to 245… not so goood. So I’m done making excuses. I’m going to try to start eating right 5 days a week, drinking 2 or less days a week and exercising 3 days a week. Checking in every two weeks, I expect to lose about 10 lbs a month, and to be satisfied and stable by my birthday
Not really sure why I thought it would be more fun to jump rope than run or swim, but we’ll see how it goes. I’m gonna give it a try in a few hours
So I decided that its better to be in a little more pain than to be in pain and in pathetic shape…. so I ran, slowly, last night and this morning. 2.4 miles each time. I ran the same loop both times and this morning I pushed myself to do a little better than yesterday. I think I can keep this up. Run a little each day. STRETCH so my old man back doesnt hurt too bad. And maybe I’ll make it to the gym 2 to 3 days a week too. HOLLA!!!
-Don’t eat after 8
-Drink only water, except one drink, 6 days a week (i like beer)
-Eat breakfast
-Eat 2 pieces of fruit
-Eat 2 vegetables
-Limit salt consumption
-No Chips!
-Eat Salad…. could knock out the fruits and veggies :)
-Stretch! (my back has been killing me lately)
-Hit tennis balls (its the only fun exercise I can do that doesnt hurt me)
-Go to sleep and wake up at around the same time most days (tomorrow’s wake up is at 7 for sure… time for bed now)
-try to make it to the YMCA 2-3 days a week
Starting today, for the next week:
- Drink only water
- Eat only non packaged foods
- Try to balance fats, proteins and carbs
- Eat at least 3 raw fruits or veggies a day
- No “bad” snacking
- Drink a glass of water before everything I eat (I’ve read that sometimes our bodies tell us that we’re hungry when all we need is water)
and i figured what better day to start a month long detox than on st. patty’s day. uh… maybe. i’m gonna be busy enough today that it wont really matter that i’m not out drinkin some green beer. so far i’ve had orange juice- valencia of course haha. its my favorite. i think i’ll have a plastic apple, an orange and a grapefruit for lunch. after the gym i’ll go back to my place and have a salad with seared tofu and balsamic. i dont know what veggies i have cause i got back to my place late last night, which is why i’m starting today instead of yesterday. i met up with my friend to say bon voyage and have a few beers, then a few hot wings and some cheese. so i ruined an otherwise successful day that started out exactly like today. the difference is that i’m making it happen today. so it’ll be the 17th to the 17th. who’s coming with me? (jerry maguire? for real?)
week 1: eat vegan diet. no processed foods. all fresh. mostly raw
week 2: choose 3 superfoods to eat. that’s it.
week 3: master cleanse (no gym this week)
3 days: choose 3 superfoods to eat. that’s it. almost there!
last week: eat vegan diet. no processed foods. all fresh.
then develop good eating habits. clean out the fridge and pantry.
MAKE IT HAPPEN!
