decorate my walls

i think i enjoy giving away my art more than i enjoy having it hang in my own place. i just need one large work of art for above the couch, but i’ll wait until something really inspires me. i’ve decorated some of my walls and understand that my personality is the type that will always be changing my walls with new things and colors.

i finally matted 2 of my art pieces with construction paper and installed hardware to the frames. there’s one more piece in this set that needs to be framed, then i’ll figure out where they go.

i added a shelf and an organizer to the walls in my bathroom.

i’ve been thinking about putting some of my artwork up, and i think it still needs some work. it’s in the frames, but i’m going to use construction paper in the matting to make it pop a little more. also, i’m thinking that maybe i need to colorize it a little more before i put it up. it’s a work in progress.

nailed a piece of art on the wall and finished a corner that was bugging me for the longest time. looks perfect now :) still have a lot more art to find places for.

i decided to put a nice tapestry up as my headboard, it was super easy and it looks alot nicer than the bare wall.

my friend got me a drill with bits, and i’ve got a laser level with a box of drywall screws and hangers.

my next project will be hanging a curtain rod over my bed as a headboard. the curtain can be changed at any time to fit my mood :)

the local TJ MAXX store had some wall stickers, so i finally decorated a wall with rows of dots. it looks “ok”. i need to make them a bit straighter.

i should frame some of my own artwork. i already bought the frames, i just need to put everything together now.
