It has been a week. I have not had one cigarette at all. I have been out, I was drunk, and I did not smoke. I know it sounds insane (because it does to me) but I didn’t even crave one. The patch is great. It is a ten week process, but it is worth it. I was talking to a friend today. She said, “what kind of an investment is smoking?” I said, “not one at all. I have spent $130 a month for so long, and all I have to show for it is bad lungs, possible cancer, maybe even death. Bad Investment.” I will keep you posted.

I started the patch today. I spent $40.00 on a box of NicodermCQ patches. The box will last 2 weeks. It is odd to go through the whole day without craving a cigarette. I do fill the urge after I eat, but I know that it is just from habit. We will see. I know in the end I will save A LOT of money! Wish me luck…
I knew when I first started that it was a bad idea. And here I am 7+ years later..
I am 24, and I NEED to quit!
I am going to see my doctor about ways I can wean off of the nicotine. It won’t be easy but I am ready for change.
2007 is going to be great!and I’ll be able to smell
