The thing is, I could never paint as a career because painting is my escape. If I was stressed to finsh a peice I would have no way to escape. I get sparatic urges to paint, and enjoy myself immensely, but only in the moment. It can take me anywhere from 1/2 hr to 6 months to finish a peice. There’s nothing worse than being pressured into exploiting what you love so it isn’t fun anymore…like high school sports
