Yikes! I signed up for the Marine Corps full marathon! I’m gonna do it!

so, i’ve been running more frequently, doing short distances, like 3 miles or so. then, whenever i try a longer run, i’m worn to exhaustion. i did 6 and a half the other day. is it normal to be tired at that point. i have like 20 more miles to add to that. you think i’ll ever reach that point? i ran a half one a couple years ago when i was lighter. should i just lose weight or what?
I figure, it’s not to early to start training now. 6 miles was a challenge for me last week. But I will slowly build up.
I did the half one last year. A full one is quite a stretch for me, but I’m already in training mode. So hopefully, by October, I’ll be ready.
