scan all my photos

I reviewed some slides with my vintage viewer and researched on the internet how I might be able to scan them myself without sending to an expensive service.

I upgraded to a flickr pro account so I can add more photos and organize them. I think this will encourge me to scan at a faster rate, and also prep photos already scanned (of which there are approximately 1,500).

The last time I visited my mom I scanned all the family photos that she still has. I am working on scanning my personal pre-digital photos so that if I have to evacuate for another hurricane I will never have to worry about losing them again—a disc takes up a lot less room in the crowded car than photo boxes.
