This is never going to be completely finished...

There will always be ‘unnecessary possessions’ as life moves on..so…I am planning an almighty clear out of the spare room whilst I’m off work – then I will mark this goal as completed. I will then keep two separate goals…”One in, one out” when buying new things for myself or the house and secondly to do a ‘43 thing fling’ each month for 12 consecutive months.

Another Pre-Christmas Clear out!

I have got 3 large bags of books and a box of items ready to go to the charity shops as soon as the weather improves and the shops are open again. I also have a bag of jewellery that I no longer want ready to go to my friend’s little girl who loves jewels and keeps ‘borrowing’ her Mum’s at the moment!

Pre Christmas clearout

I am committed to throwing out or giving away at least 43 items before Christmas.Beginning Monday I’ll try 5 items a day and see how I get on!

Clear out

I have taken about 4 car boot loads of stuff to the charity shops and haven’t finished yet! I cleared loads of stuff out before we moved house and have got more since we’ve unpacked. Once I’ve got rid of the ‘obvious’ clutter that isn’t wanted I need to cast a critical eye over everything else. I have started clearing out old birthday cards etc. that I hung onto for sentimental reasons – no-one will ever read them again so recycling bin it is for them!
