Attitude:
Be more confident in my self and be less selfish
Career:
Pass my PGCE (July 09) and NQT year (July 10) to become a fully qualified teacher and have my own tutor group (Sept 10) . Take on some responsibilities within the school possibly relating to pastoral care or schools leavers. Be the best teacher i can be!
Education:
Once i’m qualified use the credits from my PGCE to complete a Masters Degree by 2013. I intend to do this part time whilst i am teaching.
Family/Friends/Relationship:
Be a good daughter/sister/friend. Be involved in a serious relationship with someone who is caring and loyal, regards family as important and has ambition to achieve things for themselves.
Financial:
Be earning at least £30K. In Sept 08 i’ll be entering my 4th year as a qualified teacher and should be on M5 pay scale (worth £27939 today). I can achieve a £30K salary by being one level ahead on the pay scale (M6- £30148) and/or taking on teaching and learning responsibilities or progressing up the management/leadership scale. At the end of my 4th teaching year i’ll be able to apply to pass the threshold to the upper pay scale (2014).
Save at least £15,000 to use as a deposit for a flat or house to buy by the time i am 30 years old.
Physical:
Be healthy!! Cook healthy meals for myself, be active and maintain my weight at roughly 9st-9st7 so that i stay within the healthy BMI range (9st10 is max).
Pleasure:
Enjoy time with friends and family and go on some nice holidays in England and abroad.
Public Service:
Volunteer so that i can use and improve my skills outside of my job and contribute something back to the community.
