I want to be a teacher

I’m paying off my tuition at school ASAP and I’m going to start taking my required classes again.

I want to teach in Long Island. I have to do some research and try finding out how much is the salary for a teacher there :)

It was never clear to me what I wanted to be when I grew up. When I was little, people would always ask me what did I want to be when I grew up. I always came up with a different answer. It wasn’t until I had my daughter that I realized I am definitely in the wrong profession. I work in a very corporate world where the objective is: make money. I am not happy with that. I remember all the names of my teachers from 1st grade up until high school. I want my name to be remembered in that way too. I learned everything I needed to know (the basics) from my early childhood teachers. It would be amazing to be a part of that and give that to other children. My major in college is education. Why don’t I go back to school and accomplish what I initially set out to do? I really should start answering my own questions….
