I think I do this a lot without even noticing (well i guess that proves the point that it’s a RAK).
I work in the operating theatre and our anaesthetic nurse just had her knee operated on late last year. Now a surgical procedure usually takes long and she was looking after a patient under sedation. I thought I’ll offer her the chair I was sitting on (I was the circulating nurse), and she thought it was very kind of me.
Funny enough I wasn’t even supposed to be in that theatre since I already finished my shift doing gynaecology, but we were one down, so I stayed and finished the endsocopy theatre, and they had nine patients, so that will take quite a while. But it all went well and we finished earlier than expected!
