43 Things About Me

I might have shared my love of Trees a time or two on this site. LMAO… I crack me up, everyone knows I am a tree lover and starved for them in all their glory.

I also have Trees that live in “Serenitys Fantasy World” and I am thinking I am going to share one. This is on a letter to Jamie.

I can’t seem to have to many and I always want more. Having heard me say that, you’d think I had a book shelf lined with them, all waiting for me to write, draw or sew something into the pages.

It all started with “Wreck this Journal” {Thank you sistercat} It was a gift from her one Christmas ago and ever since then. I’ve become obsessed.

Now I am in these swaps with people all over the place, 4 of the swaps I am doing now are journal related.

3 of them are get to know me artistic journals. One is only visual the other one is about me. It’s visual {what ever arts stuff I want} and answered questions. The girls and I who are trading finished journals have been working on them for three months now.

Julie and I have these journals, one is hers and the other mine exactly the same on the out side. We we exchange them and do pages in one another’s, Just artistic things and stuff about us. We’ve been doing this for months now. LOLOL I can’t even remember when we started, it’s been so long.

I’ve done some pages that I am just pleased as punch about and others that just are simple and silly but the best I can do. I even {Gasp…} tried to collage. {I know, will wonders never cease}

So I think I’m gonna make another goal for journals and just post some of my favorite pictures from the different ones I am working on.

This is me, my life and emotions in drawn form

This piece of paper is 7 X 7, I’m going to make a small envelope out of it.

I don’t care if they are vintage or modern I just love stamps, I have since I was a little girl. I’ve been collecting them since I was 7.

Some of them are in a container just for me to look at.
Others I’ve used for different things or I’ve given a few away, hey who doesn’t like looking over a really cool old stamp. It’s a nice surprise in a letter. {you know, another of those vintage things}

I’ve made a few ATC, Nothing spectacular but I focused on colour. One of these I fell in love with and will not be giving away. LOLOL I shock even myself sometimes.

I so Love antique things, but not just antique things in pristine condition. I love them weathered and loved by a thousand hands, other than my own.

I Adore vintage door knobs, glass, porcelain and brass, even the wooden ones. I only have two, why, I don’t really know.

I have one glass, one porcelain knob, I also a have a porcelain back that you would put in to protect the wall from the heat of the light. _{{Damn I can’t remember what those are called. Uncle where are you when I need you? Huh…}} Anyway, that sucker is now a candle holder in my bedroom. It is really cool.

But I was talking about door knobs. There are some amazing brass ones out there, they have such intricate detail to them. The glass ones are just like huge Princess Gems and the porcelain ones just reflect light so softly.

I just love the thought that in the houses they once were, people loved and had families grow up: memories, and I think of the thousands of times it was touched before me.

Sounds odd doesn’t it? But, that is how I think.

I have the word Poet, in 9 inch metal letters on the wall in my bedroom

It’s just above my closet so that when I wake each day or sit and write in my journal, or even taking a nap it is visible. It’s painted bright Red, I found the letters in an abandoned house. I also have an L and W. which are my initials.

The reason I put the word up there is because I want it to translate to my life. It’s like a vision word, so to speak. To remind me that I want to be a poet in the way I move, the way I talk, my words, thoughts, the way I walk, my dreams.

I want to live and have a poetic life.

These are things you may not know or even want to know. They maybe be things that are silly and dorky, exposing the true inner me. smile…

Maybe they are things you’ve heard a hundred times and you really wish I would hush about it… LOLOL {I’m not gonna}

I am going to try this. Maybe it will be fun or interesting, or at least give us a laugh. Who knows, just another goal that I can say I’ve accomplished.

Right now, I need to accomplish things.
