Diem Carping

It was my heart that jumped when I opened your letter.
Fearing that I had walked to far with my words of love.

It was my spirit that danced when I seen your answer of understanding before my bared soul.

My mind that grappled with the “what if and why”.
My need to speak my thoughts and desires that over came fear.

I would say in the face of seizing the day. I took a chance and for speaking my heart I was rewarded with a smile.

I’ll have to get back to this late tonight and give my Carping of the Diem…

The day is just starting and well, there are things I need to do and I am sure something will arise.

I will start off with today, well this morning to be exact.

It’s the little things, the seemingly in significant things that bring the most pleasure.

Sometimes, it might be small and over looked by most, but to me it’s priceless. So This morning.

I am not sure this is a good goal for me David. I will try. What more can I do, give my best, smile and try and anything and everything in life.
