Devote one hour a week at least to working in the garden

I am not gettingin one hour a week at all!
I am getting a little done here and there though.
I planted 2 pink delight butterfly bushes recently :)

I have only worked one hour in the garden this month. This is the fourth week. I will try to “make up” the time when I finally get around to doing some more stuff.

I have a lot to do, just can’t get it done. It is cold, it is wet, I am tired, the kids are annoying, it’s time to cook dinner, blah blah blah, excuses excuses!

I absolutely need to deweed the side hill at the back. It is enormously overgrown. That will take 2 or 3 hours all by itself. I have more planting I need to do too. I can’t afford the plants right now though. So, that can wait. but I have got to do that side hill! Well before spring, by spring the weeds will be growing again and I will fall even further behind. I have to get it done while most of it is dead or dormant…

SUCCESS! I transplanted a Camellia during the first week of the year. This took about an hour. I hate digging holes, but it really had to be moved.
