get on the honor roll

Getting on the honor roll is going to be especially hard for me, considering my GPA at the end of last year could have been a lot better, but I’m just going to have to work hard to compensate. I’ll need a 3.5 to make any Honor Roll at all. I can do well in class and on tests and quizzes, I’ll just need to study, take notes and do work outside school a lot more.

It’s easy for me to get all of my assignments done in the beginning. I just hope I can keep that going the entire school year.
