I decided to cut out fast food for a while. I have lived on fast food for years as I have worked in malls and lived alone and couldnt cook. So I decided to just NOT eat ANY for a few weeks to see what happened. Do you know what happens when you cut out the crap you have been ingesting at least once a day for like 10 years? YOU FEEL SO MUCH BETTER! I thought I had some kind of terrible disorder like Chronic Fatigue and it seems now that I actually had just been eating such non-nutrients that my body was rebelling.

It has been about a month and I think that over all I have gone from a 3 in energy (on a scale where 0 is dead and 10 is Richard Simmons) to a 7 in just about a month.

To test my theory, I was craving McDonalds after watching the movie SuperSize Me (ironic, right?) and after eating it and the following day, I was lethargic and had the “fuzzy thinking” I used to have which actually prompted me to see a doctor and get a scan to check for a brain tumor. Nope…Just the fast food!

Urrrrgh! I am always out of it. Always dragging. I want to wake up and feel rested. I want to feel “normal”. I want to have the energy to spend ALL DAY doing something out of the house! I want to not sleep late every day and then be tired by 8pm. I want to not be the first person to leave every get-together. I want to be able to exercise without it draining me for the rest of the day (week).
