I move into my first apartment Friday. I’m kinda excited because I can completely control what I’m exposed to. I get to buy my own food and drinks! And my apartment is really close to my college campus so I can use the recreation center to exercise! And there is a pool, and in the fall I’ll be taking beginning swimming. I know how to swim, but I don’t know all the strokes and it would be great to learn “professionally”!
So I’m going to change my lifetyle when I get my apartment! Not a diet, and lifestyle change! Cause that is the only true way to keep the weight off!

Bleh... 17 months ago

So I went to the doctor cause of migraines. They weighed me… and wow, haven’t lost anything. Gained some though… great. I’m 200 pounds now! Great I told someone now! Now it’s out in the public. Kinda feels good and kinda feels bad. Never been that much before, as long as I can remember. I was big in middle school, but I’ve grown then both vertical and horizontal!
Once I move out into my apartment next month I’m going to go to the recreation center and jog some. I think I will enjoy running once I get into good enough shape to do it!
I know what to do, I just don’t have the incentive to do it. I was thinking I could get a dog, cause I love animals and I could go on walks with him!



Finally! 19 months ago

So I’m taking summer classes and the dorm I’m staying at in college, isn’t really far away from the recreation center. So I’m going to try to go to the pool AT LEAST 3 times a week and exercise. I’m going to swim! And I’m going to eat healthy! I just discovered that my tastes in food has been maturing and changing. I tried a RAW carrot with ranch dressing the other day and it was actually good! So I’m going to start to eat healthier now that I actually can!

Wow, so the holidays hated me I gained like 10 pounds! But I’m losing it now, keeping it off, and losing 45 more pounds!

I rode my bike to the gym and worked out for about 45 minutes! Which is great because the bike ride is 15 minutes! And I got up in t he morning to do it!

I always thought about this, but I finally read it somewhere:
~If you have a craving, or about to eat an unnecessary food… brush your teeth!~
I hate the taste of food and toothpaste, maybe you will too!



Yah college 3 years ago

Ok, so when I go back to college I plan on losing most of my wait. I’m living on campus in a dorm, so I can control everything I eat. And I walk or ride a bike to class. And I’ll have access to the weight room in the recreation center. Which is on the other side of campus. And I’m even hoping that I’ll get a job really close so that I can walk to work, if my entire shift is during the day. So I think that this is a good plan. Ok here’s my summary of my plan. I’m 185 right now, and *I hope to be around 130.
*I plan on not drinking any sodas, and only water. Unless its a special occasion and I’ll drink juice, like grapefruit juice, orange/tangerine juice, etc…
*Cut out white bread, I recently found out that I like wheat bread more that white.
*Cut out sweets.
*Eat tons of fruits, I LOVE tangerines, apples, oranges, and grapes.
*Walking more often, maybe morning walks before class.

Does anyone know any other tips. Like just random tips that have helped you get started. Not the obvious ones though.

After a month of semi dieting and walking more, I’m down 13 pounds. That’s pretty good I think. It shows me that I can lose weight when I actually try.

What I’m doing is drinking less sugary soft drinks, I’ve switched to diet soft drinks, till I can get myself to drop those. And I’ve changed what I eat. I used to get a Chicken, Bacon, Ranch Sub at subway on white bread with tomatoes and extra ranch dressing. Well now I get a Ham on wheat with Lite Mayo, Tomatoes and Pickles. And it is just as good, which makes me so happy. And I don’t feel bad when I eat it. And I walk everywhere on campus, the only time I take the bus is when I’m running late and my knees hurt. I try to take the stairs to my only three floor class, but the stairs hurt my knees, but I can usually deal with it!

Feel free to tell me more small ways I can change my lifestyle to a healthier one!
