I Think I'm Cheating 3 years ago

Here’s the way I tricked myself into being a morning person—
I would roll out of bed with just enough time to get dressed, grab something to eat, and get out the door to work. It was miserable. I’d been waking up pretty regularly around 7am and wanted to be getting up at 6:00. I signed up with some friends to run in a marathon (see “Run a Marathon” for more info on that) and we began training together at 5am. So, 4 days a week, I am up at 4:30am to run 7-10 miles. And the 5th day of the week, I feel like I am living a life of sloth and luxury when I “sleep in” until 6am. Even on Saturdays, I’m up around 8. It is amazing how much your perspective can change when you REALLY SCREW WITH YOUR INTERNAL CLOCK!
