go to the beach

So I went to the beach over the weekend. True, this is not an oceanside beach with surfers, but it was still gorgeous.

I’m heading to the beach over the weekend but it is a mere lake/river. In my esteemed opinion this does not count. If you can’t surf, it ain’t a real beach. Capiche?

My girlfriend won a raffle prize that includes a 3 day stay at a hotel resort in any one of 50 cities. We’re thinking of hitting the beach some time in October. Perhaps in Mexico, perhaps not. Unexpectedly, this goal just might end up getting done far sooner than was thought possible.
