yes indeed. i got a call today from the director of the school letting me know i passed the test & am officially accepted.
i did the test earlier this afternoon & they (mercifully) omitted the math segment. i still had to do english, vocabulary, reading comprehension & science. i was told that i got the highest score they’ve ever seen on that test. that felt kind of good i must admit. sigh. relief.

i have been rushing to get everything together for the school i plan to attend in september. i wrote a fantastic letter(in my humble opinion) for my application & got together all the necessary paperwork. i dropped it off & now, as a mature student, i have to take this damn test since i don’t have the academic achievements to back me up. tomorrow i do the test so i’ve been freaking out about the inevitable math & science questions. the english i feel quite confident about but it has been a million years since i looked at any math or science. again…ayiyi!
i suppose we do learn something new all the time.
we’re just not consciously aware of it mostly.
it’s hard to pinpoint the moment you learned something
or changed a thought pattern.
it’s afterwards that you realize those changes have taken place…like something swimming below the surface.
i think i learned something new today because theres never been this day before now. here i am on my 39th birthday.
hopefully i will be embarking on a new career very soon, learning many new things. just working out the details. i’m excited to know that i will know things next year that i don’t know now.
