it sounds so simple doesn’t it? i honestly think it’s one of life’s biggest challeneges & one of the keys to happiness.
sometimes i just take a few deep breaths, focus on the breath, the sensations in my body then i turn my attention to the surroundings; the temperature, any sounds or smells, the quality of light. this brings me into the moment, all we really have.
lately i’ve been anxious so i need to turn up the volume on this practice.
