I wake up each day with the attitude that no matter what happens, it can’t be worse than someone else in the world. (Example: My house had no electricity for 2 days during a recent ice storm, but I was grateful that I wasn’t involved in the tsunami, which was much worse)
As for learning something new, sometimes it can be as simple as the fact that today I learned that queue is pronounced “cue” and I never knew that before.
