I was afraid that taking those quickie summer classes would make 16 weeks seem interminable. I was right. I’m over this semester. It’s actually been a pretty easy term – work wise. I should spend more time studying stats, but it’s like reading Polish. His lectures and notes help me more than anything. I did not do well on the last test; I haven’t looked at my mistakes yet. I need to schedule my final exam.

Getting ready for the second stats test. I feel confident. Gotta keep going.
Made an A on my first statistics test. It wasn’t too hard, but I believe things are about to get tougher. My brain is beginning to hurt after each class. The other class is okay. I’m excited for it to be over. 5 classes in 6 months ain’t bad!
Working on these two classes. Statistics isn’t as difficult as I had anticipated…I have a great teacher. He’s boring, but good. The other class is a little annoying because it’s all talk, but it’s fine. On Thursday, I get to choose my next 2 classes. Can’t wait to get going.
Finished my third course over the summer on August 6 – The Evolution of Higher Education. I love these five week classes. Still at a 4.0. Wonder how I’ll do with Statistics and Principles of Teaching for the next 16 weeks. Start new classes on August 25!
Just finished all my work for both summer courses – this I made a 4.0! Tuesday starts my third class. Cruising along!
The first 5-week session is nearly over (July 2). I’ve got a 20-page research paper to finish – forgot about that part. Things are going well though. Start another summer course in July. Then a few weeks off! Got all these stupid immunizationa covered too. What a pain!
Start date equals Monday, June 1. Hope everything gets paid for and my stupid shots get cleared.
One of my summer classes- Fiction & Film in Higher Ed begins June 1. I have to read a ton of books, so I’ve already gotten started. Im reading the Human Stain in order to compare it to the movie with Anthony Hopkins and Nicole Kidman. It’s good.
Apparently, I exist nowhere. I’ve spent hours trying to track down my immunization records from every conceivable place where such records could and should be stored. It’s not good enough that I’ve gone to every type of school there is…pre-school, elem, junior high, middle school, high school, undergrad, graduate school private school, public school…etc, etc, etc. How did I get through it all?
Anyway, Jill gave me a shot for $50. I should’ve started there.
