Hmmmm. 17 months ago

I might need to work on this goal. It’s 7:23, and I’m still at the office. It’s been a rather trying day, editing a dissertation by a young person who has opted to argue with me about the changes that are needed. Not a good strategy.

We had a Come to Jesus conversation, in which I explained it to the student. I will stop work on this now, but I’m still sticky with annoyance.

These dissertations, committees, extra projects, etc., are making it really difficult to make progress on my grant. A pox upon external trials and tribulations!



What would this consist of? 19 months ago
  • sleeping enough.
  • watching what I eat
  • getting more exercise than I get with riding.
  • taking stretch breaks to keep from getting headaches
  • accepting that I work slower now
  • being with my kids
  • being with what’s left of my family
  • being with my friends
