It would be so much less expensive if I just went to the library, but ohhhh no, I have to BUY good books. A habit I’ve thanked my parents and my grandmother over and over for, since I have all of their marvelous books now, 5 bookcases full of them.

This time I got a book by that Wright fellow, one titled something like “An Irish Country Doctor” (wonderful reading—the character reminded me of my dad), and a new biography of Robert E. Lee. And I picked up another book for my daughter.

Ahhhhh, fresh books!
