I am so floored right now!! I went snowboarding for the first time in two years and … NO PAIN. Ok, I lie, I did have SOME pain, but not a whole lot, and it was more of an aching which I think was from the cold. This is awesome news, my knee is almost 100% again!!! :D

I got my knee brace. I hate it. Well I mean, it works, and it’s great to have just incase. But I just hate having one. Urg.
Officially at my six month mark for my surgery. I went in for my appointment and my doctor said my knee is doing better then a large majority of people at this point! YAY. All I have to focus on now is strengthening my muscles up a bit.
Oh and running now is NO PROBLEM! :) I’m in a soccer course at school and it’s going great. No pain, no limitations, nothing!!
I went for a run today, not only am I HORRIBLY out of shape [:(:(] but my knee also isn’t as healed as I thought it was. The run killed my knee. I’m going to have to take it slow and build up my strength in my knee.
I’ve hit a major road bump. My knee is swelling up horribly, and it’s so much more painful then it used to be. My physiotherapist doesn’t know what happened and why this is happening. Thankfully I have a checkup with my doctor on the 11th. Hopefully my knee is better by then, but if not I’ll talk to him and maybe get some answers :(
The healing of the scars are much better now. I think their at their max though. So I’m stuck with what I’ve got. Oh well.
I had my first physio appointment today. The main focus is to get me knee straightened again. At the beginning, my knee had a three finger gap from the table when I was straightening it as much as possible. I got on the bike, did some squats, and did some stretching. After, I could fully rest my knee on the table (completely straight!) I just have to keep the stretching, icing, and biking up and I should be good. I have two more appointments next week.
I’m getting MUCH better. My improvement in the last few days is amazing. I can put weight on my leg but I’m still using crutches, at least until I get the go-ahead from my surgeon to walk without them. I’ve tried doing small exercises like bending and straightening my leg so I don’t get to stiff staying in the same comfort zone position.
