Being four rows up from the player box at the flames hockey game. It was awesome because we were able to see faces, hear what they were yelling and sadly … even smell what they smelt like. It got into the most intense game (against the kings) ever. Coaches were barking at each other, players were getting game misconducts, and the crowd was really getting into it. I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun at a sports game before.

All the weekends growing up. Saturday mornings I would have bowling, so I would either go to my Opa and Oma’s house before or after for breakfast. We always had scones and biscuits. So yummy.
Sundays my family would head down to my Nana’s and Papa’s where the kids would all run around and play and the parents would talk about the damn transit … But we would all be there when the news asked the daily question and we all would guess together.
When I would go to the library as a kid and just sit there for hours. I LOVED the library. I would sit there and read all day long, and then when my parents forced me to leave I would grab as many books as I could carry and check them out.
When Ethan would follow us everywhere with a camera. Seems creepy but we loved it cause we got Kodak moments every day.
When Vanessa screamed something vulgar out the window at our neighbors. We were only like 6 years old and the dad came looking for us and Vanessa hid under the bed for like four hours she was so scared.
Yesterday I threw in a package of noodles for my lunch at work. It reminded me of elementary when my parents would give me dry noodles and everyone was always sooo jealous haha. Silly to think back on it now because they are like 50 cents for a package and they take no time to prepare at all since your eating them dry. Irregardless, noodles bring back awesome memories.
All my families small traditions and memories. Like the jar my grandparents had that ALWAYS had smarties in them. I found that jar at my mom’s house and we smiled at each other and both remembered the smarties. Another is when we watched the news together, and they always had a quiz and we would all bet on which one was the right answer.
At the football game when Wally kept throwing flags to challenge the calls, and then when the fan was kicking the field goal for a free trip and it hit the post and went in the crowd started chanting ‘WALLY … CHALLENGE IT!’
The New Years Eve when Vanessa, Jayne and I got SUPER hyper off of koolaide, and ran around the house banging pots and pans and dancing to Let’s Get Retarded and Hot In Here.
