Some sort of bug 1 year ago

Some sort of bug suddenly hit me over the weekend. Now I can’t get to excerisin’ til I’m better. I don’t get it – I was feeling great, and it was all so sudden. Grrr.

Green, icky, sputum.

Treating with as much sleep, fresh fruits and veggies, as well as vitamins and apple cider.



Now Really Lean 1 year ago

Been a while since I checked in. But now, I’ve really made great strides; I’m down to around 10%-12% body fat.

I started out in November of 2006 at 145 pounds, with a 34-inch waistline, and a slight beer belly. Now I’m at 120 pounds and 28 inches. (Been maintaining that 28 inch waistline for about 6 months now).

I got freakin’ abs, man!!! And I don’t even do crunches that much! Woo-hoo! And I’m stuffing myself with steak, chicken, eggs, and beef and pork. Protein is the way to go.

Now, just gotta find a gym that fits in to my graveyard shift schedule at work so I can bulk up.



Setback 1 year ago

Swam all day at a hot spring pool this past Monday. That oughta count as a workout.

Problem is, now I’m feeling under the weather and my shoulders are sunburnt… So I haven’t been able to work out.

I’ll be heading to my chiropractor today and I’ll see what happens next week.



1 week of lifting weights 1 year ago

I was able to complete 3 workouts this week. The results have been great, despite the short span of time I’ve been doing it. I’ve gained some definition, most noticeably on my biceps, abs, and a bit on the shoulders.

My diet’s been doing relatively well, so this next week should be interesting.



2 days straight 1 year ago

I’ve started lifting weights and have now gone two days straight. Feeling great so far. I’ve been resisting the urge to go really heavy.



Definition 1 year ago

Forgot to define this goal. Two months straight of hitting the gym. Then I’ll consider myself in shape.



First trial workout 1 year ago

I tried a quick workout yesterday. Just my shoulders, biceps and abs, 5 reps 2 sets each with medium weight. It felt great, and I wasn’t too sore. Today, I was completely healed up. I guess that means I can take more punishment than that.

I’m gonna do another before this week is over, and then next week, I’m gonna start doing it for real.

This is the first time in a long time that I worked out and didn’t get sick!



Changed my diet 1 year ago

I’ve changed my diet and now I’m reaping the benefits. Within the span of 1 week, I’ve cured my really bad throat infection and cold. Once I’m strong enough, I’m gonna start doing some cardio.
