Looked on ebay but I would prefer to buy a new one with such a big purchase as a laptop as well as being something personal. I want it to write assignments on later on & just to have my own access for when I am ‘settled’...good to have one I guess. I have access to computers & the internet but it would make it much easier. Hmmm
Still looking at the Apple Green Notebook…:)

Looked at some laptops last week. I just saw that Apple has a new ecologically aware notebook so I will look at this preferrably. It is mercury and arsenic free, uses recycable glass and lower in PVCs as well using 30% less power thus reducing carbon emissions.
Keeping GREEN minded for now and the future. Also less radiation from the computer I hope !!! I guess placing crystals on the computer screen can help to deflect radiation as well.

The Apple Notebook seems like a good quality laptop that will last a few years. I want to spend about $1000 – $1400.
It would make life a lot easier. Can do assignments/keep a diary/use skype if pay for a monthly internet account etc.
Great for travelling. I have looked at second hand/reconitioned but would prefer a new one. Feel more secure since it is a reasonable investment. Probably buy a nice case to carry it, inbuilt web cam to do cams with friends/family.
Nearly have the money. The government here in Australia is giving people $900 so I may spend it on the lap top but will see. It isn’t a huge priority right now.
In about 6 months I would like to get one.
