I finally joined the gym and am working on this goal! My boyfriend and I are going together so that keeps me motivated and I really need to work on strengthening my back and core muscles so I stop getting back pain. The thought of not having back pain keeps me going.

Even my osteopath told me I REALLLLLYYY should work on my core body strength and back/shoulder muscles to help with my back problems. If this isn’t motivation enough – that I won’t have back pain anymore – I don’t know what will be.
So tomorrow I will go to the gym… otherwise, well otherwise I will have to suffer back pain!
I have a 2 week trial at a gym and I am just trying to motivate myself to go outside in the cold and actually go there! I guess I will see how my motivation levels are going after my trial and decide whether or not to continue. I have 4 weeks holidays now so if I don’t do it now, then I never will.
I have done terribly with this goal. Haven’t done a thing and always find a new excuse. I have found a gym that I want to join and I am hoping they will reduce the joining fee because I think it is a bit much and will hurt the bank a bit too much. Hopefully if I join I will stay motivated.
I think I will join the gym at uni this semester, and hopefully find a gym buddy to go along with. I really don’t mind going to the gym if I have company. Much easier to stay motivated that way. I am determined to actually start worknig on this goal when I get home. I have put on weight eating junk all year, and I would like to get back to my old weight, and feel more energetic snd fit again. Will also start up dance classes again.
Never did start that running. But I am loosing weight already since I left Glasgow. Been walking a lot more again, swimming at the beach (not just laying in the sun) and eating better. Maybe all the skinny Spanish girls have inspired me more than the overweight Brits.
It was going well. Lots of walking and eating well… Then I got to Glasgow and have been meeting lots of family. Why is it that they all like to feed me? It’s been big lunches and dinners every day since I arrived. I am sure I will put on weight before I leave, which is really not the goal as I am wanting to be looking good for the beaches of Spain. Must start running.
I have been riding around and walking a lot lately, and even eating quite healthy for the most part. The problem I think is the excessive amounts of alcohol I have been drinking lately. It will stop soon. Really.
