Soo hard! 12 months ago

She’s showing signs of ageing – she clings to the bannister of the steps and huffs and puffs – and that makes me feel sorry for her and very sad.

At the same time she’s becoming more and more impossible, and, dare I say, quite crazy…

Tried to call her and calm her down – maybe even succeeded.

We spent a lot of time during the summer 2 years ago

and did some touring together.

It deffinetly improved the relationship.

At the very least – it created a basis to build on.

Mom decided to use the extra time now that she’s on pension to take up poetry.

She joined a writers group and e-mails her latest…

... and expects my input….

... and I have none. Poetry – NOT my “forte”...

... and she’s insulted…

However 3 years ago

... she did come through and help us this awful week – she took the kids off us when we were in hospital and the following day, and was as comforting as she can be. She did also come through for my sibling in similar ways…
