I’ve been pretty good at winnowing physical possessions from time to time – generally as a prelude to moving. But for as long as I have had computers with hard drives, I have had the habit of never throwing data away. I just buy a bigger hard drive. It’s time to make an inventory of what I actually need among all those folders and files – and let the rest of the bits and bytes go.
