hold a tarantula

i got a mysteriously large insect bite up at my in-laws’ cottage (which they call camp, and that really, really gets to me because camp is reserved for camping, like with a tent, and the word ‘cottage’ doesn’t even exist in tbay).

it wasn’t just itchy where the swelling was, but all around it. in a large circumferance. all very itchy.

it finally went down yesterday and now, i can see where the bite marks are. two little puncture wounds parallel to each other.

it was obviously a spider bite from the looks of it. but what distrubed me was how FAR appart the wounds were.

i mean, how big WAS this spider that bit me?

okay, maybe not a tarantula, but i’m getting closer…

my ultimate goal is to hold one of those big, hairy trantulas. you know… one that’s been tamed down. like from a pet store. or at an insect exhibition.

ugh. just thinking about it sends me shivers.

you know which part i can’t get use to? the fact that spiders have eight eyes. and the bigger the spider, the better you can see those eight eyes.

i mean, what is up with that?

every creature on this planet should have just two eyes. one. two.

no more then two.
