i’m still getting over the last bit of the flu-bug and yet i’ve managed to get back into working out these last two days (albeit making sure they are light and comfortable workouts, so that i don’t make myself more sick).
it’s safe to say that i’m not going to be wanting to go back to a no-workout routine.
most definitely, if i ever find myself in a rut, i’ll revist this goal as often as needed to make sure that my ‘ruts’ are never too long. and that working out, in some shape or form, will be a lifestyle choice.

monday – cardio, fat burning, upper body circuit
tuesday – cardio, fat burning, lower body circuit
wednesday – hatha yoga
thursday – cardio, fat burning, upper body circuit
friday – cardio, fat burning, lower body circuit
good week, though very, very tired. but, actually, the workout gave me spurts of energy to help me get through the day. i think i may just be anemic again.
tomorrow, if i have time, will round up the week with hatha yoga.

it was definitely a challenging week. not that it was hard motivating myself to workout, but my body felt sluggish during the workouts.
but i did what i could, to get through all of them. even if it meant just to take the intensity down a notch.
looking back, it was a good week, actually. despite it being slower and one missed yoga session, everything else went smoothly.

after a week’s break from working out, i got back into it this weekend.
not at all easy… i was tired and my muscles felt so slow. however… i did the best i coul.
hopefully, the rest of the week will pick up.

no problems this week. maybe a little tired as the week comes to and end… nothing major. i just took it down a notch yesterday. whatever it takes to get me through my workouts.
the challenge will be this weekend on our short, family vacation. i’m going to pack my yoga mat and mayby some resistance bands. i’d like to take it easy, though, as i can feel that my muscles need a break.
all i want to do is some sun salutations and some standing poses. hopefully outdoors. if i can do it at least twice, i’ll be happy.

hot damn!
that was a good week. too bad not all weeks are like that! but i certainly sprang back from being sick the previous week. with gusto! and it’s always a good thing when anything is done with gusto.
because then i get to use the word ‘gusto’ which just isn’t used enough in our daily, english language, if you ask me.

it’s a good thing i started my workouts earlier this week. timed it well so that my day off ended up being the same day the worst day of my period.
yesterday was a day off. oh god. i was in so much discomfort too!
having said that, the first half of me week had been strong so i’m hoping to end it off strongly as well (staring today).

well, i’m over whatever it was that made me sick… in fact, i was feeling well enough to workout yesterday, but wanted to be careful and rest one more day.
i went to the gym today an started my workout week. i’m aiming to go strong for the next two weeks before going on a mini-vacation to thunder bay (visiting inlaws).

well, that just wraps it up for at least this week!
i’m sick. with a sore throat. normally, if it is just a head cold, i’d perservere and do light workouts. but a sore throat is something just the beginning of something more respiratory related.
in such cases, i tend to give up and just try and get better, in fear of aggravating whatever bug i might have… causing me to spin into something where i take a long time to get rid of.
i hate being sick.
and i hate that i can’t work out! :(
