This morning I finished Day 2 of week 4. I did sixteen pushups in the final set. It seemed pretty hard this morning.
Hurray! I finished the workout for Week 3. It took me a little more like a week and a half, but I stuck with it. I’m going to try to do week 4 in the recommended time period of a week, I hope I can do it!
and it went pretty well. All in all, I did 70 pushup in about 8 minutes (counting the rest breaks).
What a huge improvement from where I started! I can actually see myself possible doing 50 consecutive pushups!
It took me a while to do the first day of week 3, mostly due to a lot of work and then having it be so darn hot in the house when I got home.
but a cuple days I did do 15 to 20 pushups just to stay in the habit.
This morning I did the first day’s workout of week 3 and it went pretty well, considering I hadn’t done a whole workout day for almost a week.
and I just did my two week fitness test. I did 20 pushups, which is almost twice as many as my best effort before I started.
It’s great to see some progress!
I never would have expected to look forward to doing pushups. I’m really having fun with this program, and the pain is nearly gone!
Managed to crank out 17 push-ups at the end ( after sets of 16,16, 13, 11 to start). Form was a bit rocky at the end, though.
gosh I can see improvements already. Now, after only 4 workouts in this regimen, doing 12 pushups is easy, whereas on my initial test I could do only 11 before I was whipped!
Wow!
I actually stuck with it and finished Week 1 ! Today I did 15 pushups to strt, then 13, 10, 10 and 17. The first 15 didn’t even seen too difficult, but the last set was quite a challenge!
I like this program!
I completed Week 1 Day 2 regimen this morning. It was 12,12,10, 10, max pushups.
For the max I was able to do 12 more.
The last two sets were pretty difficult, but afterwards I didn’t feel any pain (at least not immediately!)
Update: 24 Hours Later, yes my arms are sore. Especialy the backs of the arms. weird!
