Two summers ago, Mr K and I went to visit the small town of Chester, California, which is the nearest town to Lassen National Park. I had visited Chester many times when I was little, because that’s where my Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Harlan lived, and they were my favorite aunt and uncle. But they had both died since I last visited, so I had no place to stay!
We found a very cute bed and breakfast in town called the Cinnamon Teal Inn. It turned out that Mr K and I were the only ones staying there. The innkeeper was really a great cook and an interesting person, too. She had a day job working as a DJ for the local radio station.
We really enjoyed staying at this inn, and if we go back to Chester, we’ll probably stay there again.
