Today, March 8, a Class 3 Solar Flare was predicted, which the forecasters thought would allow the Northern Lights to be visible in most of the United States. However, it appears that the solar flare this time wasn’t as large as predicted, so it’s probably not going to happen. Apparently, though, more solar flares are predicted over the next few months, so maybe I’ll get to see those Northern Lights after all!
I did call my kids and tell them to keep their eyes open tonight, as my Darling Daughter is playing a show with her band somewhere in the California desert, and The Boy is delivering food until 4:30 am. although he’s stuck in town doing that.
