So far this year I’ve finished about 8 FO’s (finished objects) but the point is that they have been finished!! YAY.
I’m going to call this goal done so I can add some new goals.

Over the weekend I finished the second dishcloth of the two that I am planning to send to Dylan.
I hope she will like them. I really like using the handknit ones instead of store bought ones. Since she doesn’t have a dishwasher, I imagine she can use them often! (at least I hope so !)
LOL!
Over the weekend, I finished another one. The picture here is a close up of the design. I enjoyed making this one, and I learned a new technique which was carrying along a bobbin to make the left hand border.
I’m going to make this one again, but next time I am going to use a darker solid color yarn to make the border.
Knitting these dishcloths is addictive! This latest one is called “Dragonfly and His Dinner”. There are little purled bumps that are supposed to represent mosquitos for the dragonfly’s dinner.
I found some dishcloth patterns I liked on Ravelry, now I can’t stop making them! This is the third one that I have made, and I like it the best of all three so far.
Now that I am cranking them out, I finally have the nerve to actually use one for the dishes! I’m just worried that the colors will fade when I wash them, but I can always make more!
My darling daughter finally returned home to New York with the catnip mouse I made for her cat Bebop. Apparently, it was a huge hit. It’s probably more because the cat is a catnip junkie, rather than the mouse being a great work of art. grin.
Over the weekend, I finished a headband for my daughter. The pattern is called “Calorimetry” and is available on the Knitty website.
I actually knit this baby twice, the first time it was just too wide on her head. The funny thing is the second time I knit it, I tried really hard to make it smaller but it came out almost the same size! (grrr). She decided it was fine though. I hope she enjoys it! I really liked the yarn I used for it, which was Filatura di Crosa 127 Print. Feels great!
Today I finished up this Felted Eyelgass Case. Being a smallish project, it was quick to knit. I thought it was a good one for a first felting project, because I was a bit worried about the felting process. It turned out prety well, I thought!
It’s a catnip mouse! It was quick to knit, now when she goes back to New York she can see how her cat likes it!
A few days ago I finished my second hat made from the Foliage pattern on knitty.com. The pattern is available here.
This hat was made with chunky weight yarn. It was very quick to knit up. The yarn I used is Sheep 2 from Sheep Shop yarn Company. I like the yarn a lot!
