Make a movie

Talked to my friend Roger yesterday. He writes radio plays and i sometimes help him out with the editing process. He reckons we work well together and thinks we should get a cheap video camera and throw some stuff together then put it on you-tube. Hes sick of working for The Man, and so am i…damn you Man! This time next year we’ll be millionaires. Or something.

heres a short movie idea; a bloke walks past a building site which is in mid construction and stops to ask a workman if there is a public phone nearby. He points him towards one just up the street. the bloke goes and makes his phone call. he leaves the phone booth and walks back up the street. As he reaches the building site he meets the workman again who is about to leave with his toolbag over his shoulder. The workman nods pleasantly to the bloke and walks away. The building is built.
I have to admit that i am quite ill at the moment. This may be an appalling idea. But it made me laugh. I wonder if Brad Pitt is available.

I have written a few short film script but the gap between that and getting them made is a large one. It requires absolute dedication to the point of blind stupidity and a level of enthusiasm that borders on the psychotic. But what a thing to have!! Gonna gather my scripts, write a new one and make use of my contacts. ‘GO YOU BIG RED FIRE ENGINE’
