Found some correspondence courses that seem to fit what i’ve been looking for.
I can’t attend full time college due to serious lack off funds and the serious price the college decides to charge if you are over 18.
So the plan is to start one of these courses and start doing as much volunteer work as possible.
Getting my name around really and proving to people that just because i don’t have amazing qualifications doesn’t mean i don’t know what i’m doing.
Hopefully sometime soon things will be looking up, for once i’ve ended my search on a high!

Another brick wall!!
I can’t re-take my GCSE’s because none of the colleges near me offer the full courses!!
I can’t believe this, then i write to a careers advisor and get no help at all, actually i get treated like a waste of space!!
So now onto another plan…
  • Start selling my artwork to try and get some extra money for courses.
  • Volunteer until i can’t move from exhaustion.
  • Maybe take an online course in animal care, it might build up my CV and confidence in the subject.
  • Maybe take an animal care course at a local college part time in September.

I’m not giving up this time, i’m going to get there, no matter how hard it’s gonna be! I’m not giving up again.

I have no idea where this came from...

But I was writing out a few goals the other day until i came across, figure out what i want to do with my life and i started laughing and said out loud, i just want to be an EVN (equine veterinary nurse) this was odd for me as i wanted to do this years ago, back when i was horse obsessed, it hadn’t crossed my mind since. This could just be an odd moment or it could be a sign… i’m not sure but it seems becoming one could be easier than i think, although i have no money for the college course but i guess it’s certainly something to look into.

It seems...

as though i’m just running around in circles right now, i don’t know what i want to do, i don’t know maybe everyone turning me down means i shouldn’t do this.
It just hurts so bad, i don’t know what i’m doing anymore or where i’m heading here.
Too much rejection. I just feel sick with stress from all of this.

Looking into volunteering properly now, i’ve found a vets, a wildlife sanctuary and a dog shelter which aren’t too far away. Now i just need to choose one and hopefully start asap!
Also trying to save so i can pay to do a part time college course this September, if all goes well this year could be the one.
Oh man i hope this all works out!!

it’s so hard to get into, especially after i was given some really rubbish careers advice whilst at school which pretty much told me i was thick and had no chance so i might as well give up. I kinda did give up. something i regret with all my heart, but i can’t change it now, now i have to work hard so i can make a future.

There’s so many jobs though and so many qualifications you need, whatever happened to starting at the bottom and working up?
