1. mom’s spaghetti
2. beef teriyaki
3. grilled chicken (thanks george foreman)
4. steamed rice
4. baked salmon
5. enchiladas
6. chop suey
7. burgers
8. chipped ham
9. turkey
10. pork chops
11. ...

to my list of dishes i know how to make (in theory)... see one, cook one, teach one, i guess.
actually cooking them and having them turn out as edible would be another thing… but i guess knowing is half the battle. i’m getting there. :)

dinner: done.
unfortunately the turkey didn’t quite turn out as i would’ve liked, but then again, turkeys are tough to cook right every time… making all the trimmings wasn’t so bad, and the ham turned out just right. then again, you really can’t mess up a ham if it’s already pre-cooked… lol.

watched the food network for an hour the other day… i learned how to make cinnamon rolls, hand-rolled pretzels, crab cakes, pigs in a blanket, bbq chicken pizza, and orange smoothies. now—where to find the time, motivation, and a willing taste-test victim…? ...hmm.
