Read all the unread books on my shelves

Ooops! Ok, so it’s 2011 and I still have.. (wait- let me go count them) ...4 unread books on my desk (excluding 3 recipe books, 3 textbooks, and a collection of Shakespear). While I’m being honest, I might as well say that these books are actually no longer on my desk, or on a bookshelf- rather, the “need to read” pile has been shoved into a little out-of-the-way nook in my room.

Anyway, I’ll read the 4 and then consider my goal met :)

In order to finish this goal, I will need to stop checking books out of the library and read my own first/instead. I will also need to stop buying books. I basically only buy books if they are under $1.00, but I go to a garage sale or library sale now and then- and when I do, I find my “to-read” stack 5 books taller! If I can’t finish the 10 unread books sitting on my desk (plus others I may accumulate) by 2011, I’m giving up this goal!
