learn how to type better and faster

UUGGHHHH!!! This is so frustrating! I have always been a decent typist, but now I am in school for medical assisting and we are required to learn the ‘correct’ way to type in case we need to fill in for the front office. They have a program that is used in conjunction with a book, like any other program I have seen. But, for some reason, I just cannot grasp the concept. I type faster when I don’t worry about whether my fingers are on the home row. And another thing, I cannot break the habit of looking at the keys. I am also playing typer shark in my spare time at home. We will see what happens!
