to be fair, electrician is not totally to blame for delays to this stage now.

UPDATE: the new cable is laid!
warning tape is added, and trench filled in

now it’s down to the paperwork turnaround to providers (hydro and council)

sending happy vibes to my electrician who is causing me angst… Please commence laying the underground cable to re-connect the house to mainstream electricity supply …. please ….grin Progress is s-l-o-w.

the new year will be heads down & tail up into this project.

I plan to remove an 8M x 7M section that has rotten flooring etc
and low roof.

Too costly to simply repair. Remodel with stone and build to suit front part of 1900s cottage.

It is over a decade since I first dreamt of doing this.
It has tried my patience, and that of friends.

OH HOW I LOVE A SLEDGEHAMMER & PINCH BAR.

Something spiritual in letting go like this.
