How bad does it get? 2 months ago

I’ve been recruited to not only squirt (children’s) antibiotics into her mouth, which she fights like crazy, but I also have to stick her with an IV fluid needle and get that to work properly (it’s actually subcutaneous Lactated Ringer’s solution, if anyone cares). This is probably the most harrowing thing I’ve been through with my cat, and I’m starting to wonder if the vet should be paying me…

Took her 2 months ago

Squeaker, who just turned 17, stopped cleaning herself… then stopped drinking enough. Turns out her white bloodcell count is through the roof… and they give her only a few days to live. :( Am doing what i can for both of us, but it looks bad. :( :(
