My cleaning products are working(NEUTROGENA), I think the problem is that it’s hard for me to stick to a routine. It’s been 3 weeks and my skin seems a lot better. But there is still more work to do.

I’m in the middle of week 4 using the Neutrogena Complete Acne Therapy system that I bought at Walgreens, and I have to admit: I have better skin now, can’t say it looks perfect but hell yeah it’s smoother and clearer. The box states 70% overall improvement in week 16 (1), Carefully I won’t be one of those foot notes jaja lol
(1)results may vary from person to person.
I completed my first week using these products, I can’t say it’s working, maybe a bit clearer, but then again sometimes my face clears up for a little bit and then starts breaking out again. Will give 16 weeks to this treatment, ( they claim a 70% overall improvement by then) if it doesn’t work I’ll move up to some other solution.
Just wanted for everyone to read some quotes as I see some people saying that tanning help them with this issue, before anyone else starts tanning to get rid of acne please read below and do your own research on the subject.
“Stay away from the sun: Although a tan can sometimes reduce the appearance of skin imperfections, such as acne, tanning does NOT make acne go away. In addition, damage from the sun can make you look old before your time or worse…can lead to skin cancer. So be careful in the sun and always use products (found in make-ups and lip care). These will not cause acne.”
“Fact: Even though a tan may temporarily cover the redness of acne, there’s no evidence that having tanned skin helps to clear up acne. People who tan in the sun or in tanning booths or beds run the risk of developing dry, irritated, or even burned skin. They’re also at increased risk of premature aging and developing skin cancer.”
“The truth is that tanning does not clear acne. Tanning, however, does increase one’s risk of developing melanoma and other skin cancers”
Yesterday I bought “Complete Acne Therapy System” from Neutrogena, they claim that I can ‘begin to see your acne disappear in as little as 2 days’ Well today was my first day using the ‘therapy’ (sound kind of funny saying it that way), tomorrow will be the second day, I really don’t expect to see results as little as two days, but at least in one week, we’ll see.
There’s something about some of the Clean and Clear creams that make my face all red, I must be allergic to some of the ingredients, I have to find out which one, Oh God! after I spend all that money in acne treatments.
