I am drinking my 50th reviewed beer, Flying Dog Gonzo Imperial Porter, and it tastes like burning plastic. No kidding. What were they thinking? I’ve had a lot more in between this and my quarter-way point, just never reviewed them. Now, the Eastern Europeans, they do the baltic porter right.

Somehow writing short little reviews does help me remember why I like or don’t like certain beers, as well as what things taste like in general. I even signed up for the premium membership because I’m a statistics addict. Good times.

With the addition of Pizza Port’s Hop 15, I now have 10 reviews and now they actually count towards the averages. More drinking for me!

I like beer. I’ve tried a lot of different kind of beers at this point, and as much as I just want to check off everything I’ve drank I need a better way to remember what I liked and why I liked it. I’ve always wanted to use beeradvocate.com to do this, but everyone always seems to write mini-books there for reviews and man, I just don’t want to write so much to be up to standard. I remember ratebeer.com used to have a really crappy interface, but I looked at it again today and it’s actually pretty nice, and people just write short notes there. So here goes…
