decorate my house

on the wall. Whooo hoooo – that was a long time coming. One of those projects that’s been on my list of things to do for – oh – say 2 years! I had to stay home from work yesterday and it was late afternoon before I decided I had to do something from my goal list in order to feel like the day could be redeemed. I’m so excited this is done.

All 4 colors are done, the masking tape is off the wall and the outlet covers are back on. The travel posters have been framed, goal for the weekend is to get pics and posters up on the wall.

Progress!

So I’m taking a couple of half days off work to paint. I stumbled upon some Oops paint in the color family I was thinking of so I was excited about that. The first color went on this morning (an orange – eek!) and besides those first few moments of screaming ‘I have an orange room!’ it looks pretty good. Three more colors to paint, a window shade and top treatment, family picture wall, and my husbands travel posters on the wall. Those are my goals.

downstairs still has white empty walls. And I have big ideas and a few days off after Christmas… so much to do, what comes first?
