were completely bloody awesome :) it’s the sign of a great band when their performance takes them from a band you’ve always quite liked, to one you are a little bit obsessed with…
Anyways, I think this goal is done now. I’m never gonna be able to go to as many gigs as I did when I was a teenager, but I’ve got my passion back for it now, which is what I really hoped for.

Seeing Maximo Park in November. Like 12 months since the last gig I went to!! It was a lot easier to go to these things when I still lived in a big music city, and within 10 mins walk of the venues ha. Still, mustn’t whinge, it’s just more of a treat now :)
I bought my boyfriend tickets to see Turin Brakes at the Kazimier club in Liverpool. A right poky little venue but a really good gig – only complaint was they didn’t play my fave song, boo. Better start lining up the next band to see then…
Chapel Club (awesome), supported by Dustland (awesome) and David’s Lyre (meh!) in Liverpool’s O2 academy. Really cool little venue, dirt cheap tickets. All in all a mint early birthday present :D
I haven’t been to a music gig for like a year. To be fair, it was Muse, and thus worth about 100 gigs, but I really want to get back into seeing live bands more often! Anyway, first up this year is Chapel Club, the day before my birthday in Feb :)
