get a credit card

I applied, this time, for a card with an annual fee (which is not the best, I know) and no rewards or anything, but it’s a start to where I can build my credit to get the card I really want.

I applied for one associated with my bank; I think that helped.

Plus, it probably helps that I am employed now.

This time I tried to apply for a card that was recommended for people without any credit or bad credit. And once again I was denied because I don’t have any credit. Argh.

I will try again later. Just not now.

So far I’ve applied for 2 cards, got neither. I wanted to try for Rewards cards first, because there’s not much point in having one without, but I guess I have to start with something more basic.

This is what I get for waiting until now to build up credit. I should’ve probably gotten a card back when I was a student, but everyone told me I didn’t need one yet.
